Standup Stall

So lately I've been slumping on writing new material. Usually I write 5/6 new premises/bits a week and bring'em to our weekly roundtable on Monday nights. But over the past couple weeks I've slowed down on the ideas, this strikes me as odd since over these same couple weeks I've been smashing on stage (yes its true. and of course I didn't record'em..irony?). But it's because I've been using about the same 4 or 5 bits. I am polishing these bit to almost A level but I'm still mad cause I kinda hate always using the same ones every week (even if its only been a couple weeks).

What I've been thinking is that I have now that I've kinda broken through a mini wall of "finding myself" on stage and these bits have down well I just wanna keep doing them. And now since I know I should talk about myself and my experiences I've found it harder to share my stories because 1: I don't know what would be a funny/good one and 2: Remembering funny stories/experiences in general. With #2 I'm usually talking with friends and then BAM I'm cracking people up (like fear of bugs or calling a sexline at age 11).

Maybe I'm just gonna think about the "old days" and start workshop'em. Gotta Keep It Fresh!

Idea's (right now)..and if ya got suggestions drop'em on the comments section
  • Sex hotline at 11
  • Velcro shoes ta anti-abercrombie
  • Being a third wheel n spilling all the snacks (at the movies)
  • Atlantic Ocean Bathroom
  • The "cool kids" in HS plays
